Hey there!

Do you like photography? Did you ever want to enter your work for some awesome 11:11 A.M. prizes? Well, we are hosting our first ever photography contest!

The theme for the contest is “Wish.”

4 EASY STEPS!

1. Take a picture that you believe captures the meaning of wishing, a wish, your personal wish, or anything that has to do with the word.

2. Email your photo as an attachment to pics1111am (AT) yahoo.com and be sure to include your full name, where you’re from and a brief description on why you chose to take this photo and what it means to you. NOTE: You may only enter ONE photo!

3. Look for your photo posted on our Flickr page.

4. Donate any dollar amount for your submission by clicking below if you’d like, but don’t worry! If you can’t afford anything, you can still enter. (We will randomly choose 5 people who donate to win prizes as well!)

11:11 A.M. staff will vote for a 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winner after the deadline.

The deadline for this contest is March 1st, 2010! That gives you a month to plan, create and enter

Remember, you can only enter one photo, so make it good! Any other photos will be disqualified.

1^st place winner will receive an 11:11 A.M. Snakes and Suits collab shirt, RARE signed “Ruthless” single by Something Corporate, an 11:11 A.M. prize pack and their photo will be posted on our website!

2^nd place winner will receive: 11:11 A.M. prize pack and a RARE signed “Ruthless” single by Something Corporate, and Inspire & Infect t-shirt

3^rd place winner will receive: 11:11 A.M. prize pack and Inspire & Infect laminate.

We reached our 3333 mark for our twitter contest!!! Thank you to everyone for helping out by spreading the word and RT’ing every tweet we sent out.  At first we were hesitant with that number but then realized a goal shouldn’t be easy to reach, it should take work.

We will be making our donation to Light the Night this week and will link everyone to it as soon as it has been made.

This donation means a lot to us because it will be in memory of our friend Matt.  A couple of us will also be walking in memory of him at Light the Night in Washington, DC this Saturday.

11:11 A.M. Impact Awards Project

For the new year, 11:11 A.M. wants to get recognized! Each month, MySpace gives out an Impact Award to an organization that is using their MySpace page to help make a difference. Based on the votes, the winning organization is rewarded with a $10,000 donation!

What you need to do to nominate us:
1. Go to http://www.myspace.com/impactawards
2. Scroll down to a little tab that says “Get Recognized”
3. Enter for Name of Nominee: 11:11 A.M.
Nominee’s MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/1111am
Nominee’s Category: Health and Safety
Then, write why 11:11 A.M deserves an Impact Award!
4. E-mail us telling us you voted so we can keep track!
* You can vote once a day, and please only send one e-mail letting us know that you voted.

That’s all you need to do! With your help, we can let the world know about our organization and earn an Impact Award. (So that we can work on even bigger projects in the future!)

At the USC event we picked a raffle winner for both the Skate Deck and Angels and Airwaves Drum Head. Congratulations to them! Half the money from the Skate Deck will go to Skate 4 Cancer.
